This approach has the following advantages: when going uphill, the rear drive wheels can withstand the driving force provided by the slope and the machine itself, while the front wheels preliminarily compact the road surface to withstand the large shear force generated by the drive wheels; When going downhill, the impact force generated by the weight of the roller is offset by the braking of the driving wheel. Only the mixture after being crushed by the front wheel has the ability to support the driving wheel and generate shear force.

③ When rolling uphill, the roller should start, stop, and accelerate smoothly to avoid excessive or excessive speed.

④ Before rolling up the slope, the mixture should be cooled to the specified lower limit temperature, and then static preloading should be carried out. Only when the temperature of the mixture drops to the lower limit (120 ℃) can vibration compaction be used.

⑤ When rolling downhill, sudden speed changes and braking should be avoided.

⑥ When rolling downhill on steep slopes, a light roller should be used first for pre compaction, and then a heavy roller or vibrating roller should be used for compaction.
