The reason why the starter cannot start is:

1. The battery is severely depleted;

2. Poor contact of starter circuit and switch;

3. There is a short circuit, open circuit, or grounding in the excitation winding or armature winding of the starter;

4. Poor contact between the brush and rectifier;

5. Short circuit or open circuit of electromagnetic switch coil;

6. The control circuit is faulty.

Precautions for using the starter:

1. The starter should not be started for more than 5 seconds each time, and should wait for more than 2 minutes when starting again. The third consecutive start should be stopped for 15 minutes before proceeding;

2. After the engine starts, the starter control circuit must be immediately cut off to stop the starter from working;

3. When the length of the brush is less than 50% and the contact area wear exceeds 70%, it should be replaced.
