Main faults and causes of the material conveying system

The material conveying system of the paver is relatively complex, and it is prone to malfunctions during the construction process. We summarize the main faults of its hydraulic, mechanical transmission, and electronic control systems, and analyze the main causes of the faults as follows.

1. Hydraulic system

The main faults of the hydraulic system include insufficient power of the hydraulic pump and slow action of the hydraulic motor. The main reason is the impurities inside the hydraulic components, the impurities mixed in during assembly and debugging, and the impurities generated during the running-in process of the hydraulic components, which cause the hydraulic oil to be contaminated, leading to abnormal wear and operation of the hydraulic pump, hydraulic motor, and control valve.

2. Mechanical transmission system

The main faults of the mechanical transmission system include broken drive chains, and stuck scrapers and soleplates. The main reason is that the gap between the protective cover and the scraper chain is too small, and the flatness of the sprocket, the flatness of the base plate, and the tension of the drive chain and scraper chain are adjusted improperly, resulting in accelerated wear of the transmission components and abnormal mechanical transmission.

3. Electric control system

The main faults of the electronic control system include sensor failure, which is mainly caused by virtual connection of the sensor plug or connecting wire, and damage to the controller, resulting in incorrect signals emitted by the sensor and abnormal operation of the electronic control system.
